Sustainable & Zero CO2

All of our systems use sustainable techniques. The versions for human and animal water cremation, as well as all different systems for the destruction of drugs, biochemicals, and illegal fireworks, all result in zero CO2 emissions.

World Innovation

All our new units are world innovations; one is the deceased together with a special PUUR coffin into our units; no more removing of the body from the coffin; no more risk of biocontamination. We are proud of this world innovation, as we are the only ones in the world to offer it.

Energy-Saving

With our next generation of Alka Eco Liquification Systems, we strive for a revolutionary energy recall system, saving up to 45% on monthly energy costs. This includes reusing the effluent.

Our most new energy recall systems are world innovations – the only ones of their kind and not TRL9-level anymore! All current in-use and on-the-market units of other manufacturers that participated in the Dutch TAUW survey are at the TRL9 level (this means developed out).

The Dutch RVO’s energy specialist came to this conclusion. He came to this conclusion after reading the full report on www.tauw.nl about Resomeren, which came out early in 2024. We also participated. After reading his conclusion, we decided that we would innovate and redevelop our units for humans as well as for pets. The special PUUR coffin with inside the human body can be inserted in our system! Our newly developed units will distinguish themselves significantly from those surveyed. Energy savings of up to 45% make those the most innovative systems.

Who is behind AlkaEco?

We are a Dutch-German company that produces Alka Eco Liquification Innovations, in cooperation with specialized experts. Our customers include existing funeral businesses, crematories, hospitals, and new entrepreneurs from around the world.

The people behind our company are specialists with long careers in industrial engineering, pressure vessel design and manufacturing, construction engineering, bio-organic chemistry, chemical industries, process technology, chemistry, medical fields, maintenance, and safety technology.

What is Alka Eco Liquification?

The process of disposing of human remains using potassium hydroxide and heat is known as Alka Eco Liquification. Marketers market the process as the most sustainable alternative to traditional burial or cremation options.

The process is based on Alka Eco Liquification: the human body is placed in a pressure vessel that is filled with a mixture of water and potassium hydroxide and heated to a temperature of around 190 °C, but at a pressure of 11 bar, which prevents boiling. This takes less than 2.5 hours.
